Motivation, I'll take it where I can get it.

Ladies on this journey we have gotta get our motivation anywhere we can. I am having one of those days where I just want to be skinnier and not do the work. We all have these days but we need to figure out for ourselves what works to fight this off. I have been looking through old photos and have been wondering an I skinnier now than in this photo, I am guessing we all do this. I think I will just have to try on the clothes I have on in the pictures to truly be able to tell.
I took this photo last night at the Mammoth game and it makes me happy to know the truth about my size and not just what I think in my head. I would guess that most of us think we are bigger than we truly are.
Also I was incorrect on how to figure how many points you burn when you work out. I was informed the formula is
your weight * how many minute you worked out * .000807
Thanks Mojito Maven!
She also thinks the most points you can earn from working out is 8. Don't let this get you down though. Push yourself during your workouts, 30 minutes at the gym isn't the same thing as 3o minutes of working out.

  1. I agree you got to get the motivation from anywhere you can!!!!! AND, I also agree that don't let the calculation for points earned back from working out discouage you. Even if you gain back 1 point that is all that matters!!!! The point of working out is not to gain back points, it is to make yourself healthier, stronger, and more energized...gaining back points is an added bonus!

  3. i know what you mean about the old photo thing. The worst is seeing pictures when look good, but you know that in that moment you thought you looked fat. (does that makes sense?) it makes you wish you had appreciated what you looked like then

  5. Love your blog. It's nice to hear from you and other women about battles that I too am going through. It's encouraging that I'm not alone in it all :)
Thanks for the email, I think my problem was that my computer disabled the picture for word verification. I'm on a different one now and it's working just fine.

  6. I'm so happy I found your blog! I found it through a friend of a friends and am excited that you too are doing ww! I am a CO native too and my husband and I live in Denver. I am thinking about incorporating ww in to my blog, but am still debating. One question? How do you deal with dinner and alcohol. Do you guys cook low point meals for the two of you or do you eat separate things? Also, do you save any points for alcohol? Excited to read more posts soon.
