getting back on track

Wow no posts for a week, that can really only mean one thing...
either I went on an amazing vacation (didn't happen)
I have SUCKED at counting points.
I have had the hardest time getting back on the WW bus since I got off schedule. We are also trying for a baby so it can get a little tricky when I am not sure if I am pregnant or not. I am not this month though so I made my bimonthy big trip to the grocery store today! I go only twice a month and I just make sure to buy enough food to last two weeks. It makes life easier and we spend so much less money doing it that way. Doesn't it seem that when you pop in the store for one thing you leave with way more and have spent $40.
WW really is so easy once you have done it for about 3 days straight. The biggest thing is getting use to not eating the junk that our bodies get so use to and then crave.
One of the other reasons I have been so bad lately is because I didn't purchase enough food choices last trip. I was left with not enough points to eat daily so I would instead make bad choices because I was hungry and there wasn't food around.

I am not sure what the weather where you are looks like today but here in Denver it is snowing already. Does anyone else feel that winter clothes are almost harder to wear than summer clothes? I find that the tight jeans, fitted sweaters and lack of flowing dresses make dressing for cooler weather so much harder.

Time to choose

I had a great week last week following my point but I see now that I didn't really update last week.
We spent the weekend at the AMAZING Young Life camp, Crooked Creek! I have absolutely no control over what we are eating and what goes into any meal the entire weekend. I remember leaving a leadership weekend last year and feeling terrible when I left. I was bloated, uncomfortable and had obviously eaten way too much. I do however have control over how much I eat. I made sure to only eat what I really wanted to and not take seconds unless I really needed or wanted them. I didn't miss the seconds and I was just a full and much happier this weekend. My pants fit my stomach isn't all pudgy and I feel great!
