What?

I keep track of my past weights in my phone so I can always look at them if I want to.  It can be really motivating to see how much you weighed a year ago and how far you have come.
I realized today that I was lighter by over a pounds after the holidays than I currently am. This wouldn't be a big deal if I was trying to maintain but I am still trying to loose. I obviously need to make a few adjustments.
I have been trying to figure out what was different and I really think I have lost my muscle that I had then.  I can't stress how great muscle looks and how many more calories you burn. I have also read that increasing muscle can help my running and prevent injuries.

I did have a guy friend ask me tonight if I had lost more weight recently!
I think the running has really changed my face and make it leaner.

  1. How do you keep track of your points? Do you just know the points of what you're eating off your head or did you purchse the book or something? I am a member of the online WW but have a hard time tracking my points and would prefer to do it on paper. The problem is I am not that well-versed with the number of points everything is. And, I too, have to reduce my points from 23 to 21 and find it very difficult at this point!

  2. I love reading your blog and have to preface my comments with that because I'm a reader of your blog but very seldom post comments.

I'm in a really bad place mentally and physically right now. I know what I have to do, I'm just not doing it. The not doing it is frightening as all get out. I needed to read your entry right now. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for posting it.

I was at one point right where I wanted to be physically and my life took a turn (divorce) and I lost all my hard work. Along with the hard work I lost my work out partner too (husband was the partner) and I've never been able to find my way back to where I was successful.

The point of my rambling, is that you're on the right path to make your desires come to light with what you're doing. When I was weight training and running, was when I hit my goal weight and my body completed transformed. I know this, yet lack the drive to get back out there and get it done.

You will get there! I look forward to watching you achieve your goals!

  3. I have definitely noticed a difference with my weight loss since I started working out with weights recently! I didn't want to start doing it, but a trainer at my gym recommended I do it since I am trying to get into running also. He has me doing more reps and lighter weights for endurance and I swear, it HAS made all the difference!!

Keep up the hard work, I love reading your blog :)
