I need some love

Girls, I just want to make sure my blog is helping motivate all of you. I am getting an average of 4 comments on each post when I show I have over 200 people reading on days I post. I get a lot of first time readers posting (love that!) but I want to make sure what I am saying makes sense. If I am not or you have a question e-mail me or comment. I almost always answer back, if I missed you ever it was an oversight. I understand just trying to keep up with your google reader and making sure you read all the great blogs that are out there, I am guilty of reading and not commenting often.

I was thinking about writing my next post about how I went from a complete non runner to starting to train myself to run but thought to myself they aren't commenting so I shouldn't waste my time.

  1. I would really like to read a post about training yourself to run. Sorry I have been slacking on commenting, I'm a self proclaimed lurked but I'm trying to get better at commenting. :) I'll work on it harder . :)

  3. I read every time you post!

It's the same on my own site. I have tons of readers but hardly anyone ever comments. It's discouraging- but keep up the good work!

  5. Hi,
I just found your blog last week. I really like it so far. I just tend to be a lurker : )
Your running posts have inspired me. I have been running sporadically since January. This week after reading about how your friend told you your face looked thinner, I ran on the treadmill twice!
My biggest hurdle though is food/following points. When I'm not dieting, my eating is fairly stable-I eat too much, but it's stable. However, when I sign up for WW online, I feel like my eating gets out of control. Do you have any suggestions to help me with this?
Take care and thank you in advance

  7. I am a lurker - have been so a while. Just wanted to say hi! I joined WW (for the 3rd time) on April 14. I weighed in on the 21st and was down 3.6 pounds. My next weigh in is on Tuesday nest week and I'm hoping for another big loss. I don't have a ton to lose, just 15 lbs, and I know that this time I'll follow the WW plan the right way and really do it. I really enjoy your blog and your tid bits of advice. Please keep posting!

  11. Here's my question...

Right now, I know I'm giong to have to start walking for exercise. I am in the market for new shoes that will support the weight that I still carry and are good for the feet. Do you have any idea where I can find something like that for a ladies' size 13 foot? (I am really tired of wearing men's sneakers...they just arne't made right!

  12. I am a new reader, I think your blog is very motivating! I have just decided that I want to start running. I have a question though! Do you have a post where you have already talked about how to begin? I mean, a total beginner. I need to go back and look through your posts but I thought I'd ask. Please keep writing here!

  13. And of course, right after I posted my question, I see a few posts down where you mentioned the running book that you recently purchased. I have even already read that post, lol, it just slipped my mind. I am adding that to my list of books to buy - thanks!

  15. I read all your posts. I'm a lurker. I don't comment a lot, but I think that's because what you post about does make sense to me. So I don't have any questions.

Thanks for sharing your daily stories and I would love to hear about training.

  16. We're just a quiet group. All lurkers it seems ;)
    I love your blog.

PLEASE PLEASE post about your training. My brother went from not even being able to run 1 mile to a marathoner in a little over a year and a half. He so motivates me and I have been seriously thinking about taking on a 5K this year. I am a walker but NOT a runner on my own weight loss journey. Any insight would be so appreciated. I'll work on commenting more. Jane

  20. I just found your blog from a link in another's blog.

I would have considered myself a runner at one point, but have seriously fallen off. I'm working my way back though, so please post your training method.

I'm off now to click the follow button so, I don't miss out.

Please forgive me if I follow and then lurk more than post. Sometimes I will comment in flurries and then life gets busy so that I just read.

    Take care.

  21. I stumbled upon your blog several months ago while layed up with a herniated disk and have been checking back with you ever since. I used to be very active...swimming, walking, pilates. But when I hurt my back that all stopped and I have gained a bit of weight...okay a lot. :) Your blog inspired me to join weight watchers again and get back with my exercise routine. I love reading your posts and feel very encouraged. I also love that you live in Denver. Most blogs I read are written by people that live miles away. I live in Albuquerque and travel to Denver to visit my boyfriend, so it's nice that I am reading about someone in my region! ha!

    Take care,
    China

  24. I just started back on weight watchers for the fifth time and am determined to make it work this time. I also just started blogging about it because I figured this would be the best way to keep track of my progress. I would love to read a post on running because it is my goal to eventually be able to run a 5K by September! Thanks for all the info!

  25. I love reading your blog. Altough I am guilty of reading about 99% of blogs through my reader. This is probably my first or second time visiting the actual blog. I find it very useful and I'll try to start leaving some comments here and there. I would love to hear about how you went from non runner to running. I played tennis in HS and the longest distance we'd ever run is about 3 laps around 6 courts. Which...is def. less then a mile. So I am 100% non runner. So tell us!!!
