the things no one talks about

Playing off my title from my last post
the things no one talks about
I would love to hear from you about the things no one talk about when it come to losing weight...
*
Mine would have to be the confusing now of how big I am. When I was small I knew I was small, now I don't really know where I fit in.
Am I smaller or bigger than the girl I think is the perfect size?

  1. I think that size judgement is something I struggle with. I ask my husband to point out people who resemble me but I think he is being nice and pointing out people thinner than me. It's so hard to be objective and to trust his objectivity!

  2. I think as a woman i have to remember that every female is built different.

  3. Things I wish I'd known...
    * No, those pants didn't make me look fat, I really was that fat.
    * Forget muffin top, I had a bundt top
    * Gaining weight is easy peasy....losing is TOUGH.
    * I'd become a pro at loosing and gaining the same 10 lbs before a *big* drop.

    Thanks for your constant encouragement!

  6. Also I think people say that you should just feel good in your own body, but I think very few people actually feel that way. But I also think in some ways this is just another excuse for people. Everyone should feel good about themselves, but being healthy is important too.

Skewed image of size. I hate when I hold up a pair of pants and think "geez that is a lot of material" and than they are tight.

Nobody tells anyone "YOUR JUST MAKING EXCUSES". I have been trying to make less excuses. Everything is an excuse. I figure there are two very important things each week - exercise and church and they are usually the first things to be cut from my schedule. Shameful yes but I know I am not the only one that is guilty.
