Wow so hard

Yesterday was my first day in almost a month where I was fully prepared to actually follow my points. I did really well until I was sent home with some crab cakes and realized we had a few yummy beers in the fridge from having friends over the night before. Needless to say I failed miserably yesterday.

Today is a new day though and I am so happy that I have stuck to my points! I am still a little hungry but I have some 0 pt progresso soup to keep me happy. The kind with the noodles is my favorite. I did have a 6 point coffee drink today while I was at the mall and I felt so out of it while I was there, too much caffeine I guess.

The biggest thing that I realize is that the longer you are not following your points the harder it is to start back again. The flip side of that though is the longer you have been following the easier it gets!

  1. I agree! I did so good last week and even had some of my extra points leftover. I like having the 35 flex points but I felt so proud when I didn't use them all. This was the first time that I had over 10 left!

  3. It really is hard to get back on track! :)

  4. That is exactly the truth! It's so easy once you have been following for a while, but if you fall off (which we have all done) it's tough to get back especially if it's been a while!

  5. I have definitely been there. Every day marks a new chance and opportunity. :) (i don't know if I could be strong against crabcakes... delic!)

  6. It's definitely hard to get back on track, but don't beat yourself up too much. It's hard to resist temptations, especially when they're handed to you like that. Try to take it one day at a time, and before you know it, it will be totally easy.

  7. Well, I was referring to the little microwavable soups. I thought that the whole thing (since it is so little) was literally 0 points! Until I plugged it into WW that is, then I noticed on the back label about the servings. ugghhh...but I am super full by the time I finish one of those! (Feel free to delete this one, too, because I know it won't make sense to others!) OH, and what is young life?

  8. I figured that was why! No worries! I'm talking about the Progresso Light Vegetable and Noodle microwavable soup. And now I feel like a complete idiot because I re-looked it up on WW and apparently I had always left the "light" off when I entered it in so it was showing me more points. *sigh* So, apparently if I eat the whole thing it's only 1 point. Sorry for all the confusion!

  9. Again, thank you for these posts! YOu're my inspiration to get back on track so I can feel like I'm taking an active role in my life... Keep up the great work!
